About.
Paul is a professional guitar teacher and performing musician based in Chipping Norton.
He has been playing guitar for over 30 years and has been established as a full time teacher since 2007. Over the years he has taught hundreds of pupils and loves passing on his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of musicians. He is a member of the RGT (Registry of guitar tutors) and is fully DBS checked.
Paul is also proudly affiliated with The Rock Project and Musicly, two respected music education organisations supporting young and aspiring musicians across the UK.

About the lessons.
Lessons are one to one and uniquely tailored to each pupil. You can choose to work towards grades
(RGT, Rockschool, LCM and ABRSM ) or just simply learn the songs you love, and work on the sounds
and techniques that you need to master to play them.
Paul is able to teach a wide range of instruments –
Electric, acoustic and classical guitar, Bass and Ukulele.
He has a passion for classic 80s rock but is also knowledgable on multiple styles and techniques from
funk and pop to heavy metal and jazz.
Paul travels to lessons and covers a wide area within Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.

Rates
For lessons within around 10 miles of Chipping Norton lesson costs are £30 for an hour or £24 for 40 minutes. Lessons further afield will be slightly more.​

The Flashback Band
Pauls' current live band is called The Flashback band. Established in 2020 they are an exciting and vibrant 80's tribute act, bringing a great mix of classic 80'spop and rock songs to the pubs and clubs of Oxfordshire and the surrounding area.
Paul was previously a member of the band Subway which was one of Oxfordshire's busiest wedding and party bands. You can catch some live Videos on The Flashback bands Youtube channel and follow them on Facebook for up to date gig listings​
